Project Hometown, Indiana

Project Hometown, IndianaProject Hometown, Indiana is a statewide effort to enhance the subject of Indiana history, and to demonstrate to students and teachers the educational value of the World Wide Web. The project provides a framework and a direction to link students throughout the state in collaborative and educational relationships. The project provides an opportunity for the student to be involved in "authentic" subject matter and at the same time meet curriculum standards. The project also gives the students and teachers an opportunity to develop their technology expertise. At the same time students grow in appreciation for the significance of their community which in turn develops pride on one's hometown!
