“Assessment in Indiana:
Past, Present and Future” Workshops Information

These workshops will focus on the details of the new assessment system, item development, and the relationship between classroom instruction and assessment. Four breakout sessions will focus on content areas: elementary mathematics, secondary, mathematics, elementary English/language arts, and secondary English/language arts. A fifth breakout session will focus on concerns and updated information regarding the new assessments including social studies, science, and the new GQE requirement.

Due to space limitations, the initial sign-up is limited to a team of five (5) individuals from each school corporation. Each member of the team must be registered for a different breakout session. Participants could include teachers, administrators, curriculum coordinators, or department chairs. One week from the workshop date, any spaces not filled will be made available for corporations to register additional participants.

NOTE: In order to access the Workshop Registration Page, you will need to use your Corporation Number or School Number (for nonpublic schools) as a Username, and your Corporation PIN or School PIN (for nonpublic schools) as a Password.

Workshops will be presented in 12 Indiana locations.
