For the sixth year, the Division of School and Community Nutrition Programs will be seeking nominations for the Senator Richard G. Lugar School Food Service Employee of the Year. The contest brochure containing nomination instructions is being sent to food service directors and school principals/cafeteria managers. The winner will be officially recognized at the Indiana School Food Service Association annual state conference on Saturday, April 12, 2003 in Indianapolis and receive a $500 cash award provided by the Indiana Farm Bureau.
We encourage anyone to nominate an outstanding school food service employee. The deadline is February 28, 2003. If there are questions about the award, please contact Diane Rice at 800-537-1142 toll free or locally at 232-0850.
